This Privacy Policy describes how Honisto, a DBA of DevAppStudios LLC (“Company”, “we”, “us”, or “our”), collects, uses, and protects your information when you use the Honisto directory at honisto.com (the “Service”).

We do not sell your data to advertisers. We do not track you across other websites. By using the Service, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this Privacy Policy.

Interpretation

Words with initial capital letters have defined meanings under the following conditions. These definitions have the same meaning whether they appear in singular or plural.

• “Account” means a directory account you may create to leave reviews, save favorites, and personalize your experience on the Service.

You can browse the directory without creating an account. If you create a directory account, we collect:

• Full name
• Timestamp of your acceptance of our Terms of Service and this Privacy Policy

Review Data

When you write a review — whether through your account or via a review link sent to you by a business — we store the review text, your star rating, the reviewer name you provide, and the date it was submitted. Reviews are displayed publicly on the directory and are associated with the name provided at the time of the review.

Reviews are retained indefinitely regardless of whether they were submitted through an account or a direct review link. If you have an account and later delete it, your reviews remain on the directory with the reviewer name, but your account and personal information are deleted.

Usage Data

When you access the Service, we may automatically collect standard technical information such as your IP address, browser type and version, device type, referring page, and pages visited. We may use third-party analytics services to help us understand how the Service is used. We do not track you across other websites for advertising purposes.

Cookies and Similar Technologies

Honisto uses cookies and similar technologies to operate the Service. We do not use advertising cookies or track you across other websites.

The types of cookies we use include:

Data Retention

• Review data (review text, rating, reviewer name, date) is retained indefinitely, even if you delete your account, as reviews are an important part of the directory for businesses and other consumers.

When you delete your account, your personal account information (email, login credentials) is permanently deleted. Your reviews remain on the directory with the reviewer name displayed at the time of the review, but they are no longer linked to an active account.

Transfer of Your Personal Data

Your information, including Personal Data, is processed at the Company's operating offices and on servers operated by our Service Providers. This means your data may be transferred to and maintained on systems located outside of your state, province, country, or other governmental jurisdiction where data protection laws may differ from those in your jurisdiction.

Your consent to this Privacy Policy followed by your submission of information represents your agreement to that transfer. We will take all steps reasonably necessary to ensure that your data is treated securely and in accordance with this Privacy Policy.

Security of Your Data

The directory is freely browsable by anyone, including children. However, creating an account and leaving reviews is intended for individuals aged 16 and older. If you are a parent or guardian and become aware that your child has created an account without your consent, please contact us and we will take steps to remove that account and its associated information.

Links to Other Websites

The Service contains links to third-party websites, including the websites and social media profiles of businesses listed in the directory. If you click on a third-party link, you will be directed to that third party's site. We have no control over and assume no responsibility for the content, privacy policies, or practices of any third-party sites or services.

Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The “Last updated” date at the top of this page will always reflect the most current version. Your continued use of the Service after the updated Privacy Policy is posted constitutes your acceptance of the changes.
